Inspired by the wonderful responses I’ve been getting from you on my Summer Survey as well as some timely questions from our facebook community, I wanted to take a moment to share 13 of the most common pieces of advice I give to women who are looking for ways to relate in a more wholesome way with menstruation, so they can not only ease discomfort, but more importantly, create an empowering relationship with their cycling bodies. || Moon time by Peta || Whether you’re one of the many women dealing with overwhelming pain around your period, or someone who is [...read more...]

So here we are again, at the beginning of Early Summer… In the Northern Hemisphere, today marks the midpoint between the Vernal Equinox and the Midsummer Solstice… and the Earth is Fully Awake! Flowers are budding and blooming, bees are buzzing, worms and creepy crawlies are munching their way through the softening soil. We’ve been watching seedlings sprout, buds bloom and greenery burst forth. Here in our Valley, we’re reveling in the warmth, the longer days, the abundance of rain. Today I’m going to share a conversation I had with a wonderful woman I’ve had the distinct pleasure of working with occasionally over the past several years. It was a beautiful, magical morning, and we couldn’t have manifested a more perfect birth. My experience of pregnancy and birthing has empowered me with unshakable confidence in my capacity to give and receive birth in a beautiful way. As it turns out, my birthing experiences have been two of the most foundational of my life; in my awareness [...read more...]

It takes over 150,000 years for light particles to move from our sun’s core to it’s shining corona. Once the photons radiate out, they reach us just 8 minutes later! How much energy is churning within each of us, building up over the years, just waiting to shine out and be seen, felt, and appreciated? What I’m feeling is that the hardest work is that of creating from within – it can take many years of passionate creative force to develop our dreams. Once we begin to shine, to let light emanate from us into [...read more...]
