So, the other day as I so often do, I decided to soak up some inspiration from TED* while I attended to some other work. In scrolling through the suggested videos I did a double take when I saw this title pop up, ”Loving Your Lady Parts as a Path to Success, Power & Global Change”. Really?!? Three years ago and in the room where I sit typing, I gave birth to our second son, into his father’s arms, underwater, in the predawn light, attended by our loving midwife, while his brother slept. It was a beautiful, magical morning, and we couldn’t have manifested a more perfect birth. My experience of pregnancy and birthing has empowered me with unshakable confidence in my capacity to give and receive birth in a beautiful way.
