About the Women’s Full Moon Dance

We gather on the Saturday closest to the Full Moon (most months) for contemporary ceremony and ecstatic dance. We focus on creating a safe, sacred space to express ourselves while exploring the medicine of collective movement and interweaving the red web of women’s wisdom. Newcomers are always welcome, even if you don’t have experience with ceremony or ecstatic dance.

Currently organized by Giuliana Serena, the co-creators of the Women’s Full Moon Dance have been dancing monthly in and around Salt Lake City, Utah for over 14 years.

Work trade opportunities are often available – get in touch if you can come early and stay late and are interested in volunteering.

At Solstices and Equinoxes (four times a year) all bodies are welcome, the rest of our gatherings are for women only*.

*Our women’s dances are trans-inclusive; meaning if you identify as a woman, you are welcome. On most nights, pre-teen boys and children of all ages who will enjoy the long evening are also welcome, as long as parents take full responsibility for their safety at all times (ear protection recommended). Occasionally, we have adults-only events. We will always make that clear in the event details above.
